Adam Brody

Bio
Hailing from San Diego, Adam Brody took the risk of hiring an acting coach and a manager instead of going to college. It was a smart move, as Brody quickly got small television roles and a few years later landed his big break: the part of Seth Cohen on "The O.C."

LOVE
Brody dated his “O.C.” co-star and on-screen love interest
Rachel Bilson for more than two years, but the couple, who managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight for the most part, split in November 2006. He was the first guy to ever appear on the cover of Elle Girl magazine, with the headline, “Need We Say More?”

Career

Brody’s career began after high school with a slew of minor roles in shows such as MTV’s "Undressed," "Judging Amy," "Once and Again," "Family Law," "Smallville," "Gilmore Girls," and "Grounded for Life." Notably, in 2000, he played Barry Williams in NBC’s "Growing Up Brady." In 2003, Brody charmed viewers playing the character of dorky California hipster Seth Cohen on "The O.C." Brody has taken notoriety from "The O.C." to the big screen, including appearances in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and “Thank You for Smoking.” He has three films in the pipeline, including 2007’s "The Ten" with
Jessica Alba and Amanda Peet.
